Novell's John Dragoon just announced the launch of the company's online user communities. Since the communities are powered by Drupal, I thought our readers would be interested.
Here's an excerpt:
Dear Novell colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new community infrastructure for Novell Cool Solutions, Novell Users International, and PartnerNet members. This is an important milestone in the ongoing rollout of our unified marketing strategy. The new site, built with the popular open-source project called Drupal (drupal.org), provides a wide and rich array of interactive features to accommodate our customers' Web 2.0 instincts.
Novell's communities run on SUSE Linux, Drupal, and a heavy dose of Organic Groups. Authentication to the community is managed by the company's eDirectory technology.
