I've written a small module that makes it possible for voting widgets (that leverage the Voting API) to hook into the User Points ecosystem. This means that sites using voting tools like Fivestar, Voting, or Latest and Greatest (to name a few) can now award their users points for voting.

Here's what it does:

• Adds points to a user's account when they cast a vote using a Voting API-enabled module.
• Lets the administrator configure how many points each vote is worth.
• Lets the administrator configure how many points can be earned (via voting) in a 24-hour period.

It does require the new 5.x-3.x version of User Points.
